About Brenda

Brenda J. Hoffman channeled and published A Glimpse of Your Future in the late 1980’s. In the interim, she, like most of you reading these materials, moved through issues that were pertinent to her spiritual and emotional path. That process shifted her thought patterns from work to playShe has returned to published channeling following a seemingly circuitous route that included work in corporate marketing, business management, and social services. Brenda, born in March, 1950, grew up in northern North Dakota, but spent the majority of her working years in Minneapolis, MN. She obtained her Master of Science degree in sociology from Mankato State University and her undergraduate degrees from North Dakota State University. Brenda and her husband, Dave, are retired and live in South Carolina.

Brenda is ready to play with her spirituality and creativity and hopes that you will are ready to play also.

    Brenda,
Your articles about the baby boomers really hit home. I just read the ones titled “this is a strange day indeed” and “you are the change agents of the universe”. I resigned from my job as a nurse in Sept. 08 because I was totally burned out after doing this for 37 years. I have no idea what I will be doing with the rest of my life but at least I feel more authentic and in touch with my deepest feelings.
I’m glad that others are experiencing similar urges to redirect the course of their lives or else I would really question my sanity for going out on a limb like this. I’m reaching deep inside myself to directly experience “inner security” because outer security is nonexistent for me.

    My best to you,
    Ripley

I know how frightened you must be. When I divorced my husband 20 years ago, I moved into a lovely apartment with no job and no income. Somehow everything worked out fine – my friends still marvel at that…and so do I. Go for the joy!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I’m realizing that uncertainty is the necessary companion of all explorers.

And of all change – it’s just that this shift is larger than any we’ve experienced before in the inner realms. Can you imagine the excitement and uncertainty of those who first explored the earth’s physical realms?

Hi Brenda: Your channels have truly spoken to my heart…I am in the middle of a major life change at 51…left Manhattan for a more peaceful life more attuned to my evolving energy…and feel like I’ve been to hell and back at this point…still plugging away though. I left corporate America to find true self, which seems ever so elusive.

Thanks for your insights and channelings…you are light amongst the darkness!

      Dear Barbara,
Aren’t these transitions almost unbearable at times? I’m retired now but before I retired, I voluntarily left several corporate positions that weren’t right for me. About twenty years ago, I also left my husband with no job and moved into an apartment. Five years later, I bought a home days after I was downsized from yet another company. Both times I was terrified- but somehow the bills were paid and I didn’t have to borrow money. My friends and I still marvel at my traumatic transitions. I have since remarried and retired from the work world – and I’m loving it. I don’t think I’m a very good rule follower! I’m not suggesting that anyone leave their job, marriage or community – everyone has to follow their inner direction. Fortunately or unfortunately, my inner direction has been to leap off the cliff and expect the best – which is often difficult to explain to anyone – including myself sometimes!!! My thoughts and wishes for an short transition for you.

    Hi Brenda,
Can’t figure how to email you but I’d love to send you a copy of my new book HEAVEN SPEAKS: Intimate Interviews with Illuminated Souls. It started with a casual comment about Walter Cronkite’s first broadcast from Heaven by my friend Carla Flack, and by evening having transmissions come through both of us–separately.
The over the next seven weeks, we had the pleasure to “receive” Michael Jackson, Abraham Lincoln, Albert Einstein, Amelia Earhart, Paul Newman, Walt Disney and …John Lennon! We asked two questions: What were your insights from the past life? And what was your moment of crossing over like? The answers were all unique, poignant and provocative, especially John Lennon! I’d love your opinion or review of the book. I can also send an article with some of the transmissions from John Lennon. On my Youtube channel (youtube.com/thepowerofcompassion, I even amde video of a fragment of Abe Lincoln’s chapter…..Our website is: wwwHeavenSpeaksTheBook.com and mine is http://www.BooksbyPamelaBloom.com

Let me know if you are interested in receiving a copy of the book. Love and light, Pamela

    Hello Roberto,
    I’m so glad we’ve connected!

The entities I channel are various…and obviously more knowledgeable parts of my being. When I channeled a “A Glimpse of Your Future” more than 20 years ago, my channel was ELETH – one segment of my being. I now feel that it’s a group channel and no name was ever given – it just feels like more expansive energy than was available to me when I first started channeling about 30 years ago.

Hope that answers your question. I’ve never had a need to know the name of my current group of resources – they just feel gentle, loving, informative and right.

    Blessings,
    Brenda

Delighted to find your words and meet another cliff jumper. Twenty five years ago I met a man, quit my job and decided to travel around the world with him for what turned out to be five and a half years. The next jump was selling our house and moving out with our barely three year old to search for a place to live that felt “right.” The latest was ending my 23 1/2 year relationship. Wow! So many changes. Finally getting use to the free fall and I now have more trust I’ll land on my feet in a better place. Wonderful to find a new friend with similar inclinations

    Dear Nadine Marie,
Thank you. I am honored that my channeling provides one of the many beacons of light during this transition. It may take me a bit of time to blog about it also!

    Hi Brenda
Lovely to come across your blog. I found it while searching ‘future self’ online, and am moved to see that early this month was indeed a time of opening up in this regard. I look forward to following your blog posts.
    All kindness, Mary.

    Dear Mary,
One of my joys is channeling information that helps others (and myself!) understand our transition. Thank you for your kind words.
    Blessings and Sunshine,
    Brenda
