How are Your Food Cravings Changing?

Title of last week’s “Brenda’s Blog” – her free, weekly, channeled blog for www.LifeTapestryCreations.com: ”You’re Ready for Joy College – The Eclipses are Over”

Dear Ones,

This week yet another astrological event might have you wondering who you are. These transitional ‘events’ are sequential and ongoing. Perhaps these shifts seem too difficult. You are fully capable physically, emotionally and spiritually of  incorporating all you are exposed to via sun bursts, astrological shifts and earth changes.

If you equate this New Age transition to pregnancy, you will better understand that all is well even though you are changing daily as is the world around you.

Do your capabilities and interests not shift when you are pregnant? Driving an automobile, work or daily chores become more difficult as your body changes shape. Your food tastes different and your body undergoes chemical changes. This wondrous New Age/new you transition is little different.

Your body, capabilities, interests and direction are changing to birth the new you.  Just as is true during pregnancy, you may crave pickles one day and roast pork the next. There is no justification for such food cravings other than your body has a deficiency that the food you crave will satisfy.

Perhaps you are gaining or losing weight – weight changes your body needs to create the new you. Many of you are now laughing for it seems as if we are telling you to end your diets and eat whatever you want – we are.

Follow your inner-being, not your head or your emotional needs. Ah. That is the difficulty. As you become more comfortable  in your home dimension (3rd, 4th, 5th, 6th, 7th or beyond), you will automatically plan your food intake around the needs of your being.

But for now, you continue the battle, if you will, between your emotional/physical/social food needs and your inner-being.

How do you know what foods are necessary for your being? Just as is true for other thoughts or actions, ask yourself if the food in question provides inner-directed pleasure – if it feels light and right; or if it is a craving driven by past emotions and needs – if it feels like a ‘should’ or heavy.

Perhaps you do not have time or an interest in determining if the food in question is a should or an inner-being need. How interesting to think in those terms. Is it not true that if  you were pregnant, you would most likely give up alcohol, tobacco and other products your medical world deemed unhealthy for an unborn child? Yet, you are not willing to do the same for yourself?

Your current food habits are not necessarily based on need. Most often, they are tied to beliefs that have little to do with your body. How many times have you denied yourself food because of the caloric intake or selected food because of the joy it should provide?

If you question that last thought, think of the times you craved ice cream or a similar food when you were unhappy. Or the times you consumed a beverage or product because you were supposed to in a particular environment. Who are you? That question does not end with your philosophical or political beliefs. That question includes what foods you eat and why.

Old Age belief patterns continue to permeate your actions. Granted, you are becoming more astute in sifting through those beliefs that impact your emotional actions. We are asking you to do the same with your physical activities – most notably today – your food intake.

Some of you have noted that foods that provided you with pleasure even a few weeks ago are no longer pleasurable. That is appropriate given that your physical being is shifting. Have you not known people who preferred sour to sweet foods? Or as you aged, have not your food preferences shifted? Would not the same be true if your entire physical being was shifting? And so it is.

It is time for you to listen to those messages. What food are you drawn to in a restaurant? If it is a food you do not ordinarily order, it is likely an inner-directed craving – you are feeding the new you. If you are in a grocery store and are intrigued with a new food or an old food you have not thought of for a very long time, it is most likely an inner-directed craving. But if you are feeling sad and find yourself drawn to those foods you have used in the past to circumvent that sadness, it is a socially driven craving. Not always an easy distinction, but one that will become easier as you listen to your inner-being.

Perhaps you crave ice cream both because you are unhappy and your body is lacking a nutrient such as calcium. It is not for us to dictate what is good or bad for you. The same is true for a diet guru or any other being who tries to determine what you should or should not eat. Your only guide is your inner-being.

For some, accessing your inner-being is difficult. Again, stop, take a bit of time to process your feelings, listen to your heart and you will know. Would not most of you reading this material do the same for an unborn child? Why is that child more valuable than the new you?

You are indeed giving birth with all the joy – and fear birth entails. Allow yourself to eat pickles and ice-cream if that is what the new you needs to grow and prosper. Do not be afraid that you will add extra pounds or shrink in size. Your inner-being will balance your physical being accordingly.

Perhaps you have forced yourself to be a certain size – denying your being its comfort zone – whether that be larger or smaller than you initially created. Allow yourself to monitor yourself. You know better than anyone who you are and what you need. There is only one of you anywhere despite the group diet plans to the contrary.

Perhaps you feel as if you cannot financially afford to eat what your inner-being needs to fulfill itself physically. You will find the nutrients you need in the quantities you require if you follow your inner-being.

Many of you, including Brenda, are wondering how such a promise is true for those who do not have enough to eat.

You are not aware of the roles others are playing in this wondrous transition. Perhaps their role is to dramatically point out that it is time to interact and share as one. Perhaps their role is nothing of the sort.

You will know how best to interact with those who do not have enough to eat by listening to your inner-being/heart. You may feel the inner need to share your resources. Or to grow your resources so that the world is a richer place. Perhaps neither of those thoughts is true. The only role you can be certain of is your own. You have a script that is by you and for you, as does every other entity on earth.

Your thread in this New Age tapestry  is no less or more important than any other. But the only way for your thread to shine and vibrate in accordance with this transition is for you to listen to your inner-being. No other voice, no other direction, no other needs can do that for you. You are a shining star, a god, a creator and the only star in your life play. So be it. Amen.

Thanks for telling me i’m doing great 😀

I always do what i feel like doing, even though, in the nearby past, i ‘lingered’ on for too long to see if what others told me to do (or be) had any truth in it for me. It never did, of course…

This update is talking about food, but actually it is about so much more… People are still following others to know what they should do or eat or how to ‘be’. Lots of people also think a lot will be changed in our world at the end of the year. Those situations alone, show me how far this world still needs to go. This will take a lifetime….and then some!

I am confident for my future, and the future of this planet. I will be a happy old man when i see some small shifts happen, knowing we did well for the children after us. And maybe, very maybe, i’m coming back on this planet for a visit after i’m long gone

If you are here also by that time, let’s grab a bite together 😉

Deal! I can’t wait for the end-product either.

From what I’m getting we may see more changes in this lifetime than we expect. I’m not sure of your age but I so remember when the b–racial people couldn’t even hold hands in movies and now bi-racial couples are kissing during 30 second commercials. We have “come a long way baby” and from all indicators, this shift is happening even faster.
    Blessings and Fun,
    Brenda

Hi Brenda. I’ve always had a crazy sweet tooth which I believe is driven more by emotions. I’ve cut back because sweets has always caused acne and now rosacea. I’ve been craving more fruits and meat latelly even though I want to cut back on my meat intake and eventually become a vegetarian. But the craving for sweets is always there lol. Thanks Brenda 😀

    Dear Angela,
I have a sweet tooth also. I love chocolate – or at least used to. I find myself selecting lemon or fruit type desserts instead of chocolate cake – or no desserts at all. I didn’t pay that much attention to the shift or understand why until this week’s blog…and so it goes!
    Blessings and Joy,
    Brenda

If you want to eat healthy, it’s very important to make healthy choices in what you eat all the time — meals and snacks. Foods with refined grains, such as white flour or refined wheat, have high amounts of starch that your body merely stores away and doesn’t use. Attempt to eat more whole grains such as whole wheat (bread, etc.), brown rice and oats — which provide energy over a lengthier period of time when you eat them.

    Dear Roni,
Thank you for your information. For some, it is absolutely perfect. But not everyone’s body needs the same energy sources. We really are unique individuals that blend together to create a beautiful harmony.
    Blessings and Joy,
    Brenda
